How to set the Tax year?

The current version of InvoiceOwl does not have a dedicated "Tax Year" or "Withholding Tax" setting.

Tax rates are managed through the Tax Rates page:

  1. Click Settings in the left sidebar.
  2. Under the Business section, click Tax Rates.
  3. Here you can add, edit, and archive tax rates that are used on your invoices and quotes.

Each tax rate has a name, percentage, type (exclusive or inclusive), and optional auto-apply settings for parts and labor.

If you need accounting features like tax year tracking, you can connect your InvoiceOwl account to QuickBooks through the Accounting Sync integration:

  1. Go to Settings > Accounting Sync under the Integrations section.
  2. Follow the steps to connect QuickBooks.

On the Mobile App

This feature is currently only available on the web app.
