How to add a new TAX detail?

You can add a new tax rate for your invoices and quotes by following these steps:

  1. Click Settings in the left sidebar.
  2. Under the Business section, click Tax Rates.
  3. Click the Add Tax button in the top right corner.
  4. Fill in the tax details:
    • Tax Name -- Give the tax a name (e.g., Sales Tax, VAT, GST).
    • Tax Rate (%) -- Enter the percentage (e.g., 8.25 for 8.25%).
    • Tax Type -- Choose Exclusive (tax added on top of the item price) or Inclusive (tax already included in the item price).
    • Auto-apply -- Check the boxes if you want this tax automatically applied to all new parts/products or all new labor items.
  5. Click Create Tax.

The new tax will now be available when creating invoices and quotes.

On the Mobile App

  1. Tap the More tab (bottom right).
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Tax Rates.
  4. Tap the + icon in the top right.
  5. Fill in the Tax Name, Tax Rate (%), and Tax Type (Exclusive or Inclusive).
  6. Tap Create Tax.

The new tax rate will be available when creating invoices and quotes.
