The standalone Sales by Item report from the previous version of InvoiceOwl is no longer available as a separate report. You can use the following reports to get similar information:

Revenue Summary
The Revenue Summary report shows your overall invoicing revenue broken down by time period. While it does not break down revenue by individual items, it gives you a clear picture of your total sales performance.
- Click Reports in the left sidebar.
- Click Revenue Summary from the All Reports list.
Invoice History
The Invoice History report lets you view all your invoices with detailed filtering. You can search for specific items or clients and see the total amount, amount paid, and balance due for each invoice.
- Click Reports in the left sidebar.
- Click Invoice History from the All Reports list (accessible via the Revenue Summary or directly from the report hub).
- Use the search bar to look up invoices that contain specific items.
- Filter by status, client, or date range to narrow your results.
Sales by Client
The Sales by Client report ranks your clients by total revenue, which can help you understand which jobs and services are generating the most income.
- Click Reports in the left sidebar.
- Click Sales by Client from the All Reports list.
All of these reports can be exported as CSV or XLSX files using the Export button.
On the Mobile App
A dedicated Sales by Item report is not available on mobile, just as on the web. However, you can access the same alternative reports:
- Tap the More tab, then tap Reports.
- Tap Revenue Summary, Invoice History, or Sales by Client to get similar insights.
Each mobile report shows summary stats at the top and a scrollable list of data. Filter by time range using the tabs at the top.
Report export is not available on mobile. Use the web app to download CSV or XLSX files.
