How can I check notifications?

InvoiceOwl keeps you updated with notifications so you always know what is happening with your invoices, quotes, and other documents.

How to view your notifications:

  1. Click the bell icon in the top-right corner of the header bar. This is visible on every screen in the app.
  2. You will be taken to the Notifications page, which shows all your recent updates.

What you will see on the Notifications page:

  • Each notification shows what happened (for example, a client opened your invoice or a quote was approved).
  • Unread notifications are highlighted and have a blue dot on the right side.
  • The time of each notification is shown below the message (for example, "5 minutes ago" or "2 days ago").
  • If there is an action you can take, a link will appear below the notification (for example, "View Invoice").

Managing your notifications:

  • Click Mark all read to mark every notification as read.
  • Click Clear all to dismiss all notifications from the list.
  • To dismiss a single notification, hover over it and click the X button on the right side.
  • Click on any notification to go directly to the related document.

On the Mobile App

  1. From the Dashboard tab, tap the bell icon in the top-right corner of the header.
  2. You will see the Notifications screen with all your recent updates.
  3. Tap any notification to go directly to the related invoice, quote, or other document.

The mobile app also supports push notifications. When a client opens your invoice, approves a quote, or makes a payment, you will get a notification on your phone even when the app is closed.
