How to delete a credit memo?

You can delete a credit memo in two ways:

From the credit memo detail page:

  1. Click Credit Memos in the left sidebar.
  2. Click on the credit memo you want to delete to open it.
  3. In the right side panel at the bottom, click the More Actions button.
  4. Select Delete from the dropdown menu.
  5. Confirm the deletion in the popup window. If the credit memo has been applied to any invoices, the confirmation will show you what will be affected.

From the credit memo list:

  1. Click Credit Memos in the left sidebar.
  2. Find the credit memo you want to delete in the list.
  3. Click the three-dot menu icon in the Actions column on the right side of that row.
  4. Select Delete from the dropdown.
  5. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Delete multiple credit memos at once:

  1. On the credit memo list page, click the checkbox on the left side of each credit memo you want to delete.
  2. A floating action bar appears at the bottom of the screen showing how many are selected.
  3. Click the Delete button on the action bar.
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Note: If a credit memo has been fully allocated (credit applied to invoices), it cannot be edited. Deleting it may reverse the applied credit, so review the confirmation carefully.

On the Mobile App

From the credit memo detail screen:

  1. Tap the More tab, then tap Credit Memos, then tap the credit memo you want to delete.
  2. Tap the Delete button at the bottom of the detail screen.
  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

From the credit memos list:

  1. Long-press on the credit memo you want to delete.
  2. Tap Delete from the action menu that appears.
  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Note: Bulk delete (selecting multiple credit memos at once) is not available on the mobile app. Use the web version for bulk actions.
