How do I change the account owner?

In InvoiceOwl, each business has team members with different roles. The account owner is typically the Admin of the business.

To transfer ownership, you can invite a new team member as an Admin and adjust roles:

  1. Click Settings in the left sidebar.
  2. Under the Business section, click Team Members.
  3. Click the Invite button in the top right.
  4. Enter the new owner's Name, Email, and set their Role to Admin - Full control.
  5. Click Send Invite.

The new Admin will have full control over the business, including access to billing and all settings.

On the Mobile App

  1. Tap the More tab (bottom right).
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Team Members.
  4. Tap the + icon in the top right to invite a new team member.
  5. Enter their Name, Email, and set the Role to Admin.
  6. Tap Send Invitation.

The new Admin will have full control over the business.
