How to use Invoice listing?

The invoice listing page gives you a full overview of all your invoices. Here is how to use it:

  1. Click Invoices in the left sidebar to open the invoice list.
  2. At the top you will see two summary stats: Paid this month and Outstanding amounts.
  3. Use the filters to narrow down your list:
    • Status filter -- choose from All, Draft, Awaiting Payment, Overdue, Paid, or Bad Debt. Each option shows a count of matching invoices.
    • Date filter -- filter by All Time, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, Last Month, This Month, Last 12 Months, Year to Date, or a Custom date range.
    • Client filter -- search and select one or more clients to see only their invoices.
    • Click Clear all filters to reset everything.
  4. The table shows columns for Invoice #, Client, Date, Due Date, Status, Total, and Balance. Click any column header to sort.
  5. Click on any invoice row to open its detail page.
  6. Click the New Invoice button in the top right corner to create a new invoice.
  7. Click Customize Template to go to the template designer and customize your invoice look.

Bulk actions: Select multiple invoices using the checkboxes, then use the floating action bar at the bottom to Send, Archive, or Delete them all at once.

On the Mobile App

  1. Tap the Invoices tab at the bottom of your screen to see your invoice list.
  2. At the top you will see swipeable filter tabs: All, Draft, Unpaid, Overdue, and Paid. Swipe or tap to filter.
  3. Invoices are grouped by date (Today, Yesterday, etc.) and show the client name, invoice number, amount, and status.
  4. Tap the search icon at the top to search invoices by number or client name.
  5. Tap any invoice to open its detail screen.
  6. Tap the + button in the top right to create a new invoice. You can also use the center + button on the tab bar.
  7. Long-press an invoice for a quick-action menu.
