How do I add a photo to my invoice?

You can add photos, receipts, and other files to your invoices as proof of work or supporting documentation. Attachments can be added both when creating a new invoice and when editing an existing one — the process is the same.

On the Web

  1. Click Invoices in the left sidebar, then either Create Invoice or open an existing invoice and click Edit.
  2. In the right sidebar, find the Attachments section.
  3. Click the Upload area or drag and drop files into it.
  4. Browse and select the photo(s) or file(s) you want to attach from your computer.
  5. The files upload immediately and appear as a list of attached files.
  6. To remove an attachment, click the X button next to the file name.

Your client will be able to see and download the attachments when viewing the invoice. Attachments are also visible on the invoice detail page in the right sidebar.

On the Mobile App

  1. Open the Invoices tab and either create a new invoice or open an existing one and tap the Edit icon.
  2. Scroll down to find the Attachments section.
  3. Tap Add Attachment to choose a photo from your camera roll, take a new photo, or pick a file from your device.
  4. Attached files appear in a list on the invoice. Tap the X to remove one.

Your client will be able to see and download attachments when they view the invoice.
