There are several ways to send a quote to your client in InvoiceOwl:
1. Send by email
- Open the quote and click Send in the right sidebar (or from the quote edit page).
- Choose Email as the sending method.
- The "To" field is pre-filled with your client's email address. You can add more recipients, CC, or BCC addresses.
- Review or edit the subject line and message body.
- Click Send to deliver the quote.
2. Send by text message (SMS)
- Open the quote and click Send.
- Choose Text Message as the sending method.
- The client's phone number is pre-filled if available. You can edit the message.
- Click Send to deliver the quote via SMS with a link.
3. Copy a shareable link
- Open a quote that has been sent (status must be Awaiting Response, Approved, or Changes Requested).
- Click the Copy Link button in the top-right header.
- Share the link however you like -- paste it in a message, chat, or anywhere else.
4. Mark as Sent
If you sent the quote outside of InvoiceOwl (for example, in person or through another tool), you can mark it as sent:
- Open the quote and click the More Actions dropdown in the right sidebar.
- Click Mark as Sent.
- The quote status changes to Awaiting Response without actually sending an email.
5. Download or print the PDF
- Open the quote and click Print / Download in the top-right header.
- A PDF version opens in a new tab that you can print or save.
