Applying a discount to a quote is simple. Here is how:
- Click Quotes in the left sidebar and open or create a quote.
- Below the line items table, find the price summary section.
- Find the Discount row.
- Choose whether to enter the discount as a percentage (%) or a dollar amount ($).
- Type in the discount value.
- The discount is applied to the subtotal and the total updates automatically.
The discount shows as a separate line in the price summary, so your client can see exactly how much they are saving.
Your changes save automatically -- no need to click a save button.
On the Mobile App
- Tap the Quotes tab, then create a new quote or open an existing one and tap the Edit icon.
- Scroll down past the line items and tap Discount.
- Toggle between percentage (%) and dollar amount ($) using the inline toggle.
- Enter the discount value and tap Done.
The discount appears as a separate line in the price summary so your client can see the savings.
