If a quote has a contract attached that requires your signature, you will need to sign it before sending. Here is how:
Signing from the quote detail page:
- Click Quotes in the left sidebar and open the quote.
- In the right sidebar, under Contract Signatures, you will see "Your Signature" with a Sign button.
- Click Sign.
- A signature dialog opens where you can:
- Enter your name.
- Draw your signature using your mouse or touchscreen.
- Click Sign to complete.
- Your signature status will change to "Signed" with a green checkmark.
Signing when you click Send:
If you click Send on a quote that requires your signature and you have not signed yet, the signature dialog will open automatically. After you sign, the send dialog will appear so you can proceed with sending.
Signing when you click Mark as Sent:
Similarly, if you choose Mark as Sent from the More Actions menu and your signature is required, you will be prompted to sign first.
Once signed, you can view the signed contract by clicking View Contract in the right sidebar.
On the Mobile App
- Tap the Quotes tab and open the quote that requires your signature.
- Under Contract Signatures, you will see your signature status. Tap Sign if it shows as unsigned.
- A full-screen signature capture opens. Enter your name and draw your signature with your finger.
- Tap Sign to complete. Your signature status will update to "Signed."
If you tap Send Quote and your signature is still required, the signature capture will open automatically first. After signing, the send screen will appear so you can proceed.
The same applies when choosing Mark as Sent from the More menu.
