How to edit client details?

There are two ways to edit a client's details in InvoiceOwl:

From the clients list:

  1. Click Clients in the left sidebar to open the clients list.
  2. Find the client you want to edit.
  3. Click the three-dot menu (the vertical dots icon) on the right side of that client's row.
  4. Click Edit from the dropdown menu.
  5. A full-screen form will open with the client's current details filled in. Update any fields you need to change -- billing name, company name, emails, phone numbers, address, billing address, website, tax number, payment terms, or internal notes.
  6. Click Save Changes when you are done.

From the client detail page:

  1. Click Clients in the left sidebar.
  2. Click on the client's row to open their detail page.
  3. Click the Edit button in the top-right corner of the page.
  4. Update any fields you need to change.
  5. Click Save Changes when you are done.

Both methods open the same editing form. Your changes are saved immediately and will appear on any future invoices or quotes you create for this client.

On the Mobile App

  1. Tap the More tab (bottom right), then tap Clients under Manage.
  2. Tap the client you want to edit to open their detail screen.
  3. Tap the Edit icon (pencil) in the top-right corner of the screen.
  4. The edit form will open with the client's current details filled in. Tap any field row to update it -- name, company, email, phone, address, payment terms, or notes.
  5. Tap Save Changes when you are done.
