When your client pays an invoice online through InvoiceOwl, standard payment processing fees apply. These are handled by Stripe, our payment processor, and vary by country and card type.
How it works
When a client clicks the payment link on an invoice, Stripe securely processes the card payment. Processing fees are deducted automatically before the funds reach your bank account — there's nothing extra you need to do.
Processing fees by country
Fees vary depending on your location and the card used. Check your Stripe Dashboard and Stripe's pricing page for the most current rates. Below are typical fees:

Stripe supports all major card brands with no extra setup needed:

- Discover & Diners
- Japan Credit Bureau (JCB)

ACH bank transfer fees
If you enable ACH Bank Transfer payments (available in Payment Processing settings), the processing fees are typically lower than card payments. Check Stripe's ACH pricing for current rates.
On the Mobile App
Transaction fees work the same whether your client pays from the web or the mobile app. Processing fees are deducted automatically from every payment.
To check which payment methods are enabled:
- Tap the More tab.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Payment Processing.
- Scroll to Default Payment Methods to see toggles for Credit/Debit Card and ACH Bank Transfer.
